Imam Bukhari dan how he regained his eyesight

When Imam Bukhari was 3 years of age, he lost his eyesight.

His mother promised herself that she would pray tahajjud salah until Allah restores her son's eyesight back.
And that's exactly what she did. She prayed tahajjud every night until one night in a dream she saw Ibrahim (as) give her the good news that Imam Bukhari's eyesight had been restored. She ran to her son and when he awoke, he found himself with vision again.

Lessons for me:

This mother didn't go into a state of helplessness after her young child lost his eyesight. Being a single mother, she didn't lose hope and become disheartened with the difficulty she would have to face with bringing up a son with a disability. She knew very well the power of dua. She knew the beauty that lies in praying tahajjud salah. She knew Allah comes down to the lowest heaven asking his servants to make dua to Him at this time.

Her taqwa, her conviction in the Might of Allah is what led her to consistently pray. To pray tahajjud salah means you sacrifice your sleep. But she did it without fail. It wasn't a "sacrifice" on her behalf but a most needed task.

When we read about the life of Imam Bukhari or know what his contribution to Islamic history and education is, how can we not look back at the household he grew up in. The mother that raised him. The mother that made dua for him in the darkness of the night.

A widow, a single mother. But she had a wealth many of us fail to embrace. She devoted herself as a slave.
These women are our role models. These women are who we look up to. Not because we know how pretty or amazing they were in looks. But because in the face of tests, they remained close to Allah. With a history filled with women who brought up men like Imam Bukhari and others, how can we feel demotivated when it comes to our own children.

If we want good for our children, and see them grow up to be good slaves, we need to take the necessary steps to become a good slave too.

This reminder about this mother's dua came at such a perfect and apt time for me. A time when I've become extremely worried about my children. This reminded me that dua is no small thing.

Tahukah anda? Bahwa janin semasa dalam kandungan perut ibunya, dia dilihatkan perjalanan hidupnya mulai dr lahir sampai mati, karena itu, terkadang ketika kita berkunjung ke beberapa tempat yang baru, tp seolah tempat tersebut sudah tidak asing bagi kita.

Tahukah anda? Di saat bersin, seluruh anggota tubuh kita berhenti berfungsi, seolah mati, ini terjadi dalam hitungan detik, setelah itu berfungsi normal kembali, inilah kenapa dalam islam di sunnahkan membaca alhamdulillah setelah bersin, sebagai ungkapan syukur atas berfungsinya kembali seluruh anggota badan kita. Sama seperti ucapan Adam ketika roh ditiup kedlm tubuhnya lalu beliau pun bersin.

Tahukah anda? Menguap itu bukan tanda bahwa kita mengantuk, tapi itu adalah pertanda bahwa tubuh kita perlu tambahan oksigen.

Tahukah anda? Bahwa memakan kurma dalam jumlah genap itu akan menghasilkan gula darah, karena itu Rasulullah menganjurkan kita untuk memakannya dalam jumlah ganjil, agar berubah menjadi karbohidrat.

Tahukah anda? Bahwa tepat setelah dikumandangkannya azan itu adalah waktu yang mustajab untuk berdoa.

Tahukah anda? Di mana dosa-dosa kita diletakkan ketika kita shalat? Nabi Muhammad saw bersabda: "sesungguhnya seorang hamba ketika menunaikan shalat, dia membawa serta semua dosa-dosanya, kemudian dosa-dosa itu diletak di atas kepala dan kedua2 bahunya, maka ketika tiap kali ia ruku' atau sujud berjatuhanlah dosa-dosa tersebut". wahai orang-orang yang biasa tergesa-gesa dalam shalatnya, tenanglah... dan tahanlah lebih lama ruku' dan sujudmu, agar lebih banyak lagi berguguran dosa-dosamu. Tahukah anda? Diceritakan ada seorang wanita solehah yg meninggal, maka tiap kali penduduk desa ziarah kubur, mereka mencium harumnya mawar dr dalam kubur, kemudian suaminya menjelaskan, bahwa istrinya itu semasa hidup selalu membaca Surah al-Mulk, setiap mau tidur.. sesungguhnya Surat al-Mulk itu menyelamatkan dari siksa kubur.

Tahukah anda? Ketika kita membaca Ayat Kursi tiap selesai shalat, maka tidak ada penghalang antara kita dan surga kecuali maut.

Tahukah anda? Bahwa para malaikat mendoakan kita ketika selesai shalat, karena itu jangan terburu untuk beranjak dari posisi duduk shalat kita.

Jika sakit kepala tu di bahagian depan, ubatnya ialah tidur.

Kalau kat atas kepala, ubatnya makan atau minum (air kosong).

Dan kalau sakit kepala tu di bahagian belakang kepala, tu tanda kita stress dan kena release stress tu baru boleh ok.

Rawatan untuk meningkatkan power of our eyesss.

Ni penting untuk org yang matanya lemah, dan juga org lain.

Otot mata menderita dari hari ke hari, sebab hari-hari berfungsi, kita bangun tidur, mata kita yang function dulu.

Jadi, makin hari mata akan kurang power.

Jadi, untuk maintain power mata kita dan kekuatan mata, kita kena ikut sunnah dlm solat. Iaitu, kekalkan mata terbuka ketika sujud, melihat titik tengah sejadah. Dan ketika berdiri, fokuskan mata pada titik tengah di sejadah juga.

Ni sebab, bila kita fokus pada titik tengah tu time kita rukuk, otot mata kita akan tekan anak mata kita untuk tingkatkan penglihatan dan bila kita bangun, otot tu relax. Dan bila kita sujud, otot mata menguncup sebab jarak antara penglihatan kita dan tempat sujud tu. Bila kita bangun, otot mata kita akan relax balik.

Solat dengan cara yang betul ni lah akan membuatkan otot dan saraf mata bersenam. Kita boleh praktik sebanyak 17 kali atau lebih kalau kita nak.

Nabi Muhammad (SAW) selalu pesan untuk buka mata ketika sujud dan kita selalu tak tahu kenapa.

Dan sekarang, bukti dari kajian saintis sudah ada.

Mmg sangat bagus untuk meningkatkan kebolehan mata kita.

A young husband wrote this to a *Systems Analyst -*
_(Marriage Software Div);_

*Dear Systems Analyst,*

I am desperate for some help! I recently upgraded my program from *Girlfriend 7.0* to *Wife 1.0* and found that the new program began unexpected _Child Processing_ and also took up a lot of space and valuable resources. This wasn't mentioned in the _product brochure._

In addition *Wife 1.0* installs itself into all other programs and launches during systems initialization and then it monitors all other system activities.

Applications such as *"Boys' Night out 2.5"* and *"Golf 5.3"* no longer run, and crashes the system whenever selected.

Attempting to operate selected *"Soccer 6.3"* always fails and *"Shopping 7.1"* runs instead.

I cannot seem to keep *Wife 1.0* in the background whilst attempting to run any of my _favorite applications._ Be it online or offline.
I am thinking of going back to *"Girlfriend 7.0"*, but uninstall doesn't work on this program. Can you please help?

*Dear Customer,*
This is a very common problem resulting from a basic misunderstanding of the functions of the *Wife 1.0 program.*

Many customers upgrade from _Girlfriend 7.0_ to _Wife 1.0_ thinking that _Wife 1.0_ is merely a *UTILITY AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM.*

Actually, *Wife 1.0* is an _OPERATING SYSTEM_ designed by its *Creator* to run everything on your current platform.
You are unlikely to be able to purge *Wife 1.0* and still convert back to _Girlfriend 7.0_, as *Wife 1.0* was not designed to do this and it is impossible to _uninstall, delete or purge the program files from the System once it is installed._

Some people have tried to install _Girlfriend 8.0 or Wife 2.0_ but have ended up with even more problems. *_(See Manual under Alimony/Child Support and Solicitors' Fees)._*

Having *Wife 1.0* installed, I recommend you keep it Installed and deal with the difficulties as best as you can.

When any faults or problems occur, whatever you think has caused them, you must run the.........
*C:\ APOLOGIZE\ FORGIVE ME.EXE* Program and avoid attempting to use the _*Esc-Key_ for it will freeze the entire system.

It may be necessary to run *C:\ APOLOGIZE\ FORGIVE ME.EXE* a number of times, and eventually hope that the operating system will return to normal.

*Wife 1.0,* although a very high maintenance programme, can be very rewarding.

To get the most out of it, consider buying additional Software such as *"Flowers 2.0"* and *"Chocolates 5.0"* or *"HUGS\ KISSES 6.0"* or *"TENDERNESS\ UNDERSTANDING 10.0"* or *"even Eating Out Without the Kids 7.2.1"* _(if Child processing has already started)._

*DO NOT* under any circumstances install *"Secretary 2.1"* _(Short Skirt Version)_ or *"One Nightstand 3.2"* _(Any Mood Version)_, as this is not a supported Application for *Wife 1.0* and the system will almost certainly *CRASH*.

Minutes 1 to 5

Your first few steps trigger the release of energy-producing chemicals in your cells to fuel your walk. Your heart rate revs-up from about 70 to 100 beats per minute (bpm), boosting blood-flow and warming muscles.

Your muscles may feel fatigued as carbohydrates stores are reduced. As you cool down, your heart rate decreases and your breathing slows. You'll be burning fewer calories but more than you were before you started. Your calorie burn will remain elevated for up to 1 hour.

As we grow older, and hence wiser...

As we grow older, and hence wiser, we slowly realize that wearing a $300. or $30.00 watch   - - - - - - they both tell the same time...
