My Wife DOES NOT WORK!

- A Conversation between a Husband (H) and a Psychologist (P):

P : What do you do for a living Mr. Bandy?
H : I work as an Accountant in a Bank.

P : Your Wife ?
H : She doesn't work. She's a Housewife only.

P : Who makes breakfast for your family in the morning?
H : My Wife, because she doesn't work.

P : At what time does your wife wake up for making breakfast?
H : She wakes up at around 5 am because she cleans the house first before making breakfast.

P : How do your kids go to school?
H : My wife takes them to school, because she doesn't work.

P : After taking your kids to school, what does she do?
H : She goes to the market, then goes back home for cooking and laundry. You know, she doesn't work.

P : In the evening, after you go back home from office, what do you do?
H : Take rest, because i'm tired due to all day works.

P : What does your wife do then?
H : She prepares meals, serving our kids, preparing meals for me and cleaning the dishes, cleaning the house then taking kids to bed.

Whom do you think works more, from the story above???

The daily routines of your wife commence from early morning to late night. That is called "DOESN'T WORK?!"

Yes, being a housewife does not need Certificate of Study, even High Position, but their ROLE/PART is very important!

Appreciate your wives. Because their sacrifices are uncountable. This should be a reminder and reflection for all of us to understand and appreciate each others roles.

I work through day and night...

Guru meninggal dunia dalam kemalangan semasa menghantar kertas soalan UPSR

Dua orang guru, David Tiong dan Azzahara Affendi terlibat dalam kemalangan semasa menghantar kertas soalan UPSR di Bukit Suling, Jln Trusan Lawas tengahari tadi.
Pemandu David Tiong dan penumpang nya Azzahara Affendi dikeluarkan oleh orang awam dan dihantar ke hospital. Azzahara Affendi meninggal dunia akibat cedera parah.

"Sadness" in the Quran

The word (الحزن) "sadness" does not appear in the Qur'aan except in the form of forbidding it

(ولا تهنو ولاتحزنوا)

or in the form of negating it

(فلاخوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون).

And the reason for this is because there is no benefit for having sadness in the heart. The most beloved thing to Shaitan is to make the believing slave sad by taking him off track.

The Prophet (ﷺ) sought refuge in Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى) from sadness

(اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الهم والحزن)

Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله said: "Sadness weakens the heart and diminishes determination and wanting to go forward. And there is nothing more beloved to the Shaitan than the sadness of a believer."

For this reason, be happy, optimistic and think good about Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى). Have trust in what Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى) is able to do and depend on Him. You will find happiness and pleasure in all situations.

Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله said: "Don’t ruin your happiness with worry, and don’t ruin your mind with pessimism. Don’t ruin your success with deception and don’t ruin the optimism of others by destroying it. Don’t ruin your day by looking back at yesterday.

If you think about your situation, you will find that Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى) has given you things without asking, so have trust in Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى) that He doesn’t prevent anything you want except there is goodness for you.

You could be sleeping and the doors of the heavens are being opened with dua’as being made on your behalf, SubhanAllaah: perhaps from someone poor whom you helped, or someone sad whom you brought joy, or someone passing by and you smiled at him, or someone in distress and you removed it.. so don’t ever underestimate any good deeds."

One of the righteous predecessors said:

"I make dua’a to Allaah (سبحانه وتعالى) for something I want, and if He gives it to me then I’m happy once and if He doesn’t give it to me then I’m happy ten times because the first was my choice and the second was Allaah’s choice."

As Sa’ady (رحمه الله) on him said: "Life is short so don’t shorten it with worries, grief, and sadness."

So be the owner of a heart that breathes happiness and satisfaction.

DOA ORANG BERPUASA MUSTAJAB

IRSYAD AL-HADITH SIRI KE-196: DOA ORANG BERPUASA MUSTAJAB

Soalan: Apakah benar dakwaan yang menyatakan bahawa doa orang yang berpuasa mustajab?

Jawapan :

Alhamdulillah, segala puji bagi Allah SWT, selawat dan salam kepada junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad SAW, ahli keluarga baginda SAW, sahabat baginda SAW serta orang-orang yang mengikuti jejak langkah baginda SAW.

Ramadhan merupakan bulan yang penuh dengan keberkatan dan rahmat daripada Allah SWT. Di samping itu, di dalamnya tersedia berbagai jenis tawaran-tawaran dan keistimewaan yang perlu kita kecapi. Berdasarkan soalan di atas, terdapat beberapa buah hadith yang menceritakan sedemikian:

Daripada Abdullah bin ‘Amr RA berkata bahawa Nabi SAW bersabda:

إِنَّ لِلصَّائِمِ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ لَدَعْوَةً مَا تُرَدُّ

Maksudnya: “Sesungguhnya bagi orang yang berpuasa itu ketika dia berbuka doa yang tidak akan ditolak”. [Riwayat Ibn Majah (1753)][Syeikh Syuaib al-Arna’outh mengatakan sanad hadith ini adalah hasan]

Daripada Abu Hurairah RA berkata bahawa Nabi SAW bersabda:

ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا تُرَدُّ دَعْوَتُهُمْ: الْإِمَامُ الْعَادِلُ، وَالصَّائِمُ حَتَّى يُفْطِرَ، وَدَعْوَةُ الْمَظْلُومِ

Maksudnya: “Tiga golongan doa mereka tidak akan ditolak: Imam yang adil, orang yang berpuasa sehingga dia berbuka dan doa orang yang dizalimi”. [Riwayat Ibn Majah (1752)][Syeikh Syuaib al-Arna’outh mengatakan hadith ini adalah hasan]

Daripada Abdullah bin ‘Amr RA berkata bahawa beliau mendengar Nabi SAW bersabda:

لِلصَّائِمِ عِنْدَ إِفْطَارِهِ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ

Maksudnya: “Bagi orang yang berpuasa ketika dia berbuka doa yang mustajab”. [Lihat: Musnad Abi Daud al-Thoyalisi (2376)]

Melihat kepada hadith-hadith di atas, kita mengetahui bahawa doa orang yang berpuasa adalah mustajab di sisi Allah SWT. Ini kerana, orang yang berpuasa mempunyai kedudukan yang tinggi dan istimewa kerana mereka berpuasa kerana Allah SWT. Tambahan pula, Allah SWT amat suka kepada hamba-Nya yang sentiasa berdoa memohon kepadanya dalam apa jua keadaan. Untuk itu, kita sebagai seorang yang beriman kepada Allah SWT perlu mengambil kesempatan ini  dalam mengecapi tawaran yang berharga ini.

Penutup

Kesimpulannya, doa orang yang berpuasa adalah mustajab. Akhirnya, marilah sama-sama kita memperbanyakkan berdoa kepada Allah SWT terutama di bulan yang penuh dengan keberkatan dan kemulian ini. Di samping itu, kita juga boleh memasukkan nama-nama Allah SWT yang agung di dalam setiap doa kita agar doa-doa kita dimakbulkan oleh Allah SWT sebagaimana yang kami telah jelaskan pada artikel sebelum ini. Amin.
